Thanks to the adaptive SV brake, the spool induction rotor moves closer to the magnets as the spool speeds up, giving more braking force when you need it and less when you don't. Switch to the DC spool and the intelligent chip senses your casting force and spool speed in real time, automatically adjusting the brake for smooth, controlled casts from short pitches to long distance throws. The tapered line guide reduces friction for extra distance, while the 7.3:1 gear ratio gives fast retrieves and great control for crankbaits, pencil baits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits and weighted soft plastics.
